We still haven’t had snow here in the Washington, DC area, but we had flurries and some rain this weekend. Funny thing is, it may be cold, but I get warm….fast!
This is the most comfortable and warmest attire I could pull together. I have had this Old Navy maternity jacket for 5 years (I bought it before I was pregnant the first time without knowing it was a maternity) and the wellies came back with me from London. I recently added the fleece lining to keep my feet warm.
Like I said, I’m done shopping (for myself) until after the baby is born, so I’m working with what I have. I did get some proper maternity leggings a few weeks ago because the regular ones where cutting me off mid-belly and it was sort of painful.
There is still so much to do, yet I feel so heavy and weighed down that I keep putting it off but I’ve told myself that starting tomorrow I’m back into baby planning action!
Tonight we are staying home and having dinner with friends, then probably in bed early. I don’t want to go anywhere and just the thought of having to wear heels or trying to pull up tights over my belly is unappealing to me right now.
But hey, that’s how pregnant ladies roll! And that, my friends is how I’m signing off 2012 – big, round and frantically nesting.
