FINALLY! An actual style post. I missed doing these — selfies are really not that fun, especially when you want to show an entire outfit. Besides I want to show you what I really look like. Because, let’s face it, if you meet me in real life I won’t be alone. Nope. I’ll have at least one child ON me and another near by.
I had the good fortune of being able to go Target ALONE this week. Image that. I walked up and down the aisles, carefully looked at every single item and just enjoying the peace and quiet. I posted a picture on Instagram of a child-free shopping cart and apparently stirred up some jealousy among my mommy friends. Sorry!
I went for batteries, formula and orange juice and came back with those plus a pair of polka dot skimmer jeans (in a size 12!) and a striped blue and orange dress. All on sale, thank you very much!
I’m still not back in my regular jeans (size 8-10) and that’s okay — I’m getting there. But my clothing options are limited so when there is a sale I try to get pieces I can wear for a while such as a the dress and stretch jeans.
Today my sister came over to visit and I asked her to snap a picture with my sweet Little L who had shots today and wasn’t feeling very good — even though she smiled for the camera. ¡Esa es mi niña!
I’ve always loved pattern mixing and this polka dots with stripes and blue and white combination with the red Chewbeads necklace makes a great comfy, stylish and chic outfit for any mama. Oh and the necklace, it’s made for YOU to look stylish and for your baby to chew on! For real.
What color and pattern mixing are you doing these days?
