Not sponsored. I was gifted a pair of Tieks for National Heart Month but was not under obligation to post. I want to share the facts about heart disease because I had no idea and maybe you don’t either!
I had NO idea about this and maybe you didn’t either, so read on and share.
February is National Heart Month. Right, okay…what does that mean?
Well, it turns out the heart disease is the NUMBER ONE killer of WOMEN in the USA.
More deadly than all forms of cancer and causing 1 in 3 deaths each year. Scary, but absolutely preventable.
— Getting regular health screenings including and blood pressure (eeek! I have a problem with this!) diabetes and cholesterol.
— Have a heart healthy diet that includes lots of fruits and veggies (I hope my super fiberlicious green smoothies count!)
— Getting at least 30 minutes of exercise a few times a week (walking and doing my T25!)
— Not smoking (not since my college days!)
That’s not too bad and it’s easy enough to keep healthy. Still, we know so many that don’t and run the risk. Share these eye-opening facts and show some heart health love this February while wearing red.
As if I had to remind you, but I adore red so wearing it this month is not a big stretch for me.
Today, which is National Wear Red Day I’m wearing my usual red lipstick, drinking tea from my red lips cup from The Little Monogram Shop that I bought at the Alexandria Warehouse Sale and new cardinal red Tieks.
What red pieces will you wear to spread the word this month?
