Warm weather days are here and that means no more hiding behind layers of clothing. Now it’s time to show off some skin!
But I, like many MANY women suffer and dread the unavoidable, chub rub.
You know — when your thighs rub together and the friction gets too hot to handle and you feel like there is a fire down there? And really it’s not even about weight, many women just have thicker or bigger thighs and well, when left bare they meet. And rub. And they burn, baby burn.
Frankly it is embarrassing even if no one knows about it. It’s mortifying to be so chafed you can’t walk. Even at my slimmest the thighs just kind of, stayed together. Obviously the chafing was less when I wasn’t as heavy, but either way — it hurts!

Obviously now in the spring and summer chafed thighs mixed with sweat irritates the skin, can peel, bleed and simply stop you dead in your tracks not allowing you to take another step. Take it from me, I KNOW the pain, I’ve known it since I was a child.
I have used a variety of the products shown, however I swear by Body Glide. When I was running and training for a marathon I used it before my long runs and of course it works wonders on your inner thighs and where my inner arms meet the side of my torso.
I have not tried Bandalettes, which are sexy and practical but am curious to give them a go this spring. I have heard good things and that they do stay in place. However do I wonder how often I’d have to re-adjust them.
