It’s been a supremely busy week with just life in general and a new job I got overseeing social media for a local business. The weekend was just as busy with family commitments and laundry! Argggg!
However on Monday we took my daughter to get her passport in the morning and in the afternoon I took a bit of a break and headed to the Bitar Institute for a hydrating facial treatment…it was, in a word, heavenly. I’ll tell you more about that next week!
Despite it being COLD again, I wanted to wear a dress. I actually prefer them to jeans, especially when it’s cold because I wear them with thick tights and boots and it’s less constricting around the waist.
I dug around a bit and found this striped and solid dress from the Gap with tags still on them — so I decided it time to wear it. It’s still snug as I didn’t lose as much weight as I anticipated, but I added the leather jacket to style it up and conceal the hips and of course, my green handbag.
The Stella & Dot Juniper necklace and the green handbag lightened up the darker look despite it being a very, very cold day.
Lips where blood orange color by Rimmel and the nails Sally Hansen Heart to Heart — got to have a touch of red!
What bright color are you wearing to make your outfit stand out?
