Cheers from the UK!
We are still in London and believe it or not, it is the only major city in the world that is occupied by 40% of open spaces and parks. Everyone imagines a city similar to NYC, but the fact is there are lush green parks everywhere. It is absolutely LOVELY!
Picnics, walks, strolls along the river — it’s truly incredible and one of the things we most miss about living here. When there is nothing else to you, you take a walk through a park, or gardens and discover a new corner of the city.
This week we went to our old neighborhood of Chiswick in West London and spent and afternoon at Chiswick House Grounds and Garden which has a lake, playground, a tea house and a vast amount of greenery.
Even on rainy days, families are out for walks in their wellies, trench coats and umbrellas!
Here is my best, “walk in the park” look — a trench, Noonday Zip Scarf given to me by Noonday Ambassador Kelli Magee, cobalt jeans, denim button down, Clarks flats, Ray Bans, Last Call Neiman Marcus Reversible Tote (gifted) and Little L is strolling in her new Cath Kidston Maclaren buggy (gifted) and my hair is in a bun because I forgot my hairdryer and it’s all sorts of crazy. This is a first for me, because I always wear my hair down.
By the way, the fashion is INSANE over here, can’t wait to share more! Now we are off to do some shopping, hitting Hyde Park and strolling through Marylebone High Street and Piccadilly Circus.

Your host for this week is Thrifty and Chic Mom
This post is about real mamas who have real style. While we all fall into the jeans and t-shirt rut we are encouraging our fellow moms to take the time to dress their best and rock it like the rock star moms they are!
Did you look especially good this week, were the other moms at the playground complimenting your outfit?
Share the look that worked for both potty training, the playground and coffee with a friend and let’s inspire each other with some real mom fashion! This linky is hosted by Thrifty and Chic Mom, Momma in Flip Flops and Very Busy Mama.
