I was gifted items at the launch of The Pink Armoire, a new online boutique offering designer looks for less. I was under no obligation to post. Views are my own.
Let’s be real, most times ‘budget friendly’ fashion involves spaghetti straps or a cheap material which is not only see through but made for a size double zero. Here in Old Town Alexandria there are amazing boutiques and shops and while I can often purchase a little something here and there, the prices are high. But oh my…the pieces are truly one of a kind and chances are no one else will be wearing the same thing.
Periwinkle is one of them. Gorgeous items but way out of my price range. Owner Elizabeth Mason took note and launched The Pink Armoire, an online budget friendly boutique — with designer looks for less. Same unique and stylish pieces as before, but at a fraction of the cost. I’m talking $50 dresses, $40 shoes and $20 watches (among other items).
In one month I gained another 7 lbs and now I can’t cover up with a blazer or jacket anymore. Besides, that day it was blazing hot and wearing all over shapewear and sweating isn’t a pretty combo. ¡Ayyyy!
In the end I chose the striped coral hi lo sundress seen above — which is still not comfortable to wear but even with a few pounds less it will be great fit and paired it with the abbey colorblock peep toe heels.
Talk about WOW! They are incredibly vibrant and chic for summer — the designer looks for less came to a total of $110 ($52 for the dress and $58 for the heels.) I not only like the prices but the actual selection — feminine dresses, A line skirts, fitted blazers, over sized tops and just REAL clothing, for REAL women.
I’ve worked with Elizabeth (the owner) many times and because of her close relationships with her customers she knows what they want — and what they (I) want are the same designer looks for less. Have a look at the site — I GUARANTEE you will find something you
