I’m not going to lie, this family hasn’t had a proper vacation in many, many years.
We’ve had small trips here and there, but I’m still waiting for our south of France or Italian holiday getaway just as my husband promised years ago when we still lived in the UK.
During our trip to London this April, Villa Pia, a 15th century Italian country manor house, once the summer residence for a Florentine family (yep, just what it says) offered my family and I an all-inclusive holiday there. We were very beyond excited at the prospect of having our dream vacation come true, but sadly due to time constraints while we were in the UK we had to say arrivederchi. For now.

Coincidently, this morning while I was working out, a woman was telling her personal trainer about her upcoming holiday at an Italian villa. I instantly began daydreaming of Villa Pia, which is nestled between Umbria and Tuscany, Lippiano imagining my kids running around and my husband and I relaxing on a lounge chair doing nothing and loving it.
The reason I am so enamored with this villa is because of its one of a kind amenities and the fact that “they understand the difference between simply travelling with kids and experiencing an affordable luxury holiday that is truly family friendly.”
Villa Pia also offers:
- A range of beauty treatments,
- adult cooking classes
- Pilates or yoga classes
- Wine tasting,
- On-site babysitting service
- Children’s art and cooking classes
- Child friendly/safe swimming pool
- Traditional Italian cuisine prepared by local chefs
Lippiano, where Villa Pia is located, is a traditional town with luscious green fields, olive groves and vineyards. It sits on five acres of land and just beyond the gates is a storybook 10th century castle surrounded by stunning woods which are perfect for walking, mountain biking and horse riding.
Yes people a REAL castle!
Sooo? What do you think?
If you and your family are looking for an extraordinary and affordable and luxurious kind of holiday, or you already have plans to head to Europe this July and August you should certainly consider adding stay at Villa Pia.
