I’m at the 5 month mark and e-x-p-a-n-d-i-n-g fast. This is my third pregnancy and I have only one pair of maternity jeans. So far I’ve managed to use what I have and re-work it to my changing body. And really, that’s how it should be!

Sweater vests can be tricky (at least for me) however I decided layering was the best option, especially this time of year.

I’m wearing a pair of workout capri’s from Old Navy which, never get worked out in (ha!) but fit over the bump. To give the sweatervest some edge, I added the quilted black Superga slip ons, striped tee, Ray Bans and… to finish it off, a black leather jacket!
Everything is non-maternity but either a size or two bigger or just super stretchy. I want all of you mamas out there to feel comfy, stylish and HAPPY no matter your size.
Before getting pregnant I was already unhappy with my weight, but you gotta do what you gotta do. Like my mamá always said to me — “gordita y siempre bonita” which translates to “chubby/curvy but always pretty” meaning well-dressed and CONFIDENT.
