I’ve done this twice before and I still can’t find a decent pair that I don’t have to pull up and adjust over the belly every 5 minutes! Being nearly 5 months doesn’t help either, because the bump isn’t big enough, but big enough to not fit into my regular jeans. Ok, rant over!

Yesterday I had an audition in Richmond for a commercial — I read for the role of a “mom” and “wife.” In an audition room, it’s good to bring something to the role. You don’t need to wear a costume, but if the role calls for a “stay at home mom” type then you bring that look and feel with you.
Anyway, yes it’s something I’d wear, but it’s too “soft” for me — I need a bit of edge. To offset the blush cardigan, I’d swap out the flats and add my quilted back Superga slip ons and use my red/pink/burgundy custom made lipstick for a POP of color. Or wear a leather jacket and keep the flats. It’s all about mixing and matching!
I’ll keep on auditioning until the babe arrives and in the process try to keep my jeans on!
What do you think of the look?
