It’s barely fall.
I say that because it’s still warm around here and taking these pictures was pure torture! We went for a family walk to Roosevelt Island in Virginia/Washington, DC and once we picked up the pace I started to sweat buckets. My hair quickly frizzed up and I started to remove my layers, fast.
But that is just the point — ’tis the season to layer like a mother. Along with the girls at Take Time for Style we are showcasing just how moms do fall fashion.
Here are 3 ways to layer for fall featuring two pieces from JC Penney: A.N.A jeggings in washed black (super stretchy + my first pair of jeans that are not maternity!) and this St. John’s Bay Sherpa Vest over a black multi-tasking breastfeeding cardigan from Goodbody GoodMommy.
It’s a stylish and versatile cardigan with a built in nursing cover. And get this, it has POCKETS.
If you saw my video on why Birkenstocks have to hurt so much you’d be surprised to see me wearing them. However, I’ve turned a corner and managed to break in the Gizeh style in taupe after healing my blistered and chafed feet. Good thing because Birks aren’t cheap!
