Oh hey! Good to see you — I’m back. I was out of commission (again) because you know… three kids, three kids oh and THREE KIDS. Two at home and just life. Now we moved to a new home with more room and light so we are in the midst of UNPACKING and getting set up. The fact is, I’ve been feeling like poo poo for a while because of my weight, my crazy face problems with breakouts and flare ups, feeling the financial crunch due to cutting back on work and just not feeling like me at all.
But I’m not here to complain, you know me better than that! I like to share my struggles but then it’s time to move on.
Moving made me want to be a minimalist — as in I want to BURN everything except what I’m wearing and my toothbrush, I’ll keep that. Seriously, SO MUCH CACA. I, WE don’t need stuff in our lives.
Case in point: shopping. I found so many items of clothing, beauty products and accessories that I had completely forgotten I owned. Call it wardrobe amnesia or just a hoarder in training, either way I put together a sweet outfit with pieces I found and it felt so good because I didn’t have to spend money.
Joie pointed flats, black skinny Old Navy jeggings (yeah girl!) Gap green/grey handbag, poncho from The Pink Armoire, striped zip Noonday Collection scarf, Marie Hell STRETCH tunic and… the best of all, red Julep nail color in Karissa. This stuff is about 4 years old and the color was still popping!

And sure enough, that thought of “I look good” starting coming through in my energy levels, my confidence and even in my ability to want to be social and… even do a style post. Which if you read this blog you know I haven’t done one in FOREVER.
So my friends, we all have low confidence days but the key is to find the good, feel the good, be the good. We deserve it.
And then get back to doing Weight Watchers, the gym, Beach Body or whatever it is that you are doing to feel your best and achieve your goals. But DON’T get sucked into the black hole of self hate. NO!
