I know, shameful, given the fact that I have 3 kids and anything can happen at any given time. We panic, we freeze but especially as mothers we must keep a clear head and do what we do best — GET IT DONE!
Here’s a video to freshen up your Hands-Only CPR skills:
Anthem Foundation says that Hands-Only CPR (no mouth to mouth needed) SAVES LIVES! In two very easy steps we can prevent a death of a teen or an adult.
FIRST: Call/get someone to call 911
SECOND: Push hard and fast on the center of the chest of the person affected and continue until help has arrived. Years ago a nurse told me to push to the rhythm of the song “Stayin’ Alive” by the Bee Gees. If you don’t know the song, download it! 🙂 It will keep you calm and possibly save the life of the person you are helping.

Remember, stayin’ alive, stayin’ alive!
